EXtreme Badminton Competition 2009 at Bonsor (Metrotown)

    This two-part event starts with a mini Tournament and finishes with the Xtreme Survivor Badminton Competition! Can You Say BREAK-MY-STRINGS!!! :crying::D:D

    All registered participants will be competing in both events, the mini Tournament and the Xtreme Survivor Badminton. Event winners will receive a prize!


    Cost: FREE! (includes prize draws)

    Date: Friday May 1st, 2009

    Registration: Starts at 4:00pm (come early!)
    THERE IS A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

    Time: 4:30pm to 9:30pm - you'll want to be there till the very end! ;)

    Using a radar-gun, my backhand smash has officially been clocked at 117mph or 188kph (and I wasn't even warmed up yet :rolleyes:) ...

    I could have easily made it through the 5th Round Survivor Competition with only using my backhand :D:D:D

    :D :D :D :D :D :D It's been a very long time ago since I was U19! :rolleyes:

    Unfortunately, I was the organizer & MC of the event, and the radar-gun was the biggest hit of the night (pun intended).

    With all the surviving competitors using their forehand smash, 4 competitors were faster and 2 was tied with my backhand smash, and I didn't even warm up!
