It might sound like a dumb question... but I really didnt know the answer to this question. What are the differences between yonex made in taiwan rackets and made in japan? I know that ones made in japan cost a lot more money and good players use them. So what is it that makes japanese rackets superior to made in taiwan rackets?
Jeeman asking about rackets made in Taiwan vs. Japan This is the answer Silver Bullet is refering to Rackets selling in Taiwan (TW coded) and Japan (JP coded). Hope this helps and clear thing up.
well currently all high end Nanospeed armortec and arcsaber rackets are made in japan and their low ends are in taiwan and all muscle power racket are made in china right now, same with cab rackets to
why are you guys talking about high end and low end they are all good and what about other companies? maybe like victor, wilson etc. they also produce their rackets in taiwan
well i guess yonex is most populer cuz they actually explain what the do to the racket to make it better while others explain so little
All of the high end MPs have been discontinued, haven't they, Kwun? Or is the 45 a made in Japan racket?
i understand the confusion now. Yonex distribute different rackets to different country/markets. in Hong Kong, they still have MP99, MP66, MP45 which i believe are made in Japan. anything at or below MP25, i am not sure.
but to answer the OP's question. roughly, high end Yonex racket models are made in Japan, low end Yonex rackets are made in Taiwan, and some ultra-budget ones are actually made in China. as for the difference, it really depends on you. there are certainly differences between them but the difference is not due to the location they are made in, but instead due to the high-end / low-end design of the racket.
Oh, I didn't know that. Just goes to show the wealth of knowledge from certain people on this forum. They say you learn something new every day so that can be mine for today Yeah, I agree with that. If an Arc10 or other high end Yonex was made in China, I doubt you'd notice the difference, Yonex just make the low end rackets in China and Taiwan to save money and bring the rackets in at a lower price. They don't need to do that with the high end models.
I think almost rackets made in Japan (JP coded) are better and more expensive than TW.but in Vietnam to find a JP one is very difficult! anyone can show me the add where sell JP
That's not what this thread is about. You're referring to distribution codes. For example, a Nanospeed 9900 whether the distribution code is UK, SP, JP, CH, CP, IP, US will always be made in Japan. Likewise for low end rackets made in China.
2# is right, top racquets are made in Japan, but I dont know the real difference among CH,JP,SP and TW.
they are part of cone codes, and are called distribution or country codes. search up those terms. you should get a lot of answers.
