Hey there, I am looking for a Badminton Centre I vistited during my travel in Malaysia. It is in Melaka and is called Dewan Badminton Centre Point. Ok, since nobody replied you, I've asked around. Please contact : Mr Ah Tan (chinese male), I've PM you his hp no They dont have email addy or fixed line, small business. Charges : RM6 per hour for 1 court. Operating hours according to the guy is 'anytime, any day court available' till 11 pm at nite. Dewan Badminton Centre Point is located at Jalan Munshi Abdullah in town center, nearby Ramada Renaissance Hotel, Orkid Hotel, Emperor Hotel (7 min walk, at my eagle speed ). 15 min walk from City Bayview Hotel. Errrr, if you are talking to the guy in English, please talk slowly, I dont think his english that good but I spoke to him in CHinese lah so no problem.

really miss that place.. the owner is really a nice guy.. if you buy something, definitely you'll get something for free.. the price there also very cheap.. the court fee only rm6 per hour..
haha.. you cant expect that one for sure.. but you'll definitely get a free gift.. even if you buy a shuttle, you'll get a free gift.. i mean a shuttle, not a tube of shuttle..

thx for all the information. i bought two pair of shoes there at a nice price. donno if it's a good price in malaysia but 70rm for one pair compared to germany is about a quarter of our usual price.
That shop owner is a very nice guy indeed, if ure short of players u can even ask him to join in with you guys (providing there is a lady helping him during the hour) but be advised, he is VERY professional (former state player i guess). Just the other day i've met a french guy who plays there too, it was on friday if i was not mistaken. Saturday's rate is RM4 per hour ****
When do u normally play florulez? Oh btw, that owner guy is going to compete on this weekend (saturday+sunday) under MMU masters 2009 and there will be special appearence by Malaysia's national players such as hafisHashim, kookienkiet/tanboonheong and mohd zakry/fairuzizuan on sunday. i'll definately be there to support him (MrTan)
