My feet get really sweaty after a game. This makes it uncomfortable to play my upcoming games. Is there a way I can keep my feet dry? I am using SHB 71 wihch have no air vents. Please do not suggest buying new shoes with the double russell mesh.
Take them off? wear a pair of slippers in the mean time bring extra socks, insoles, etc. that is all i can think of right now.
I second the suggestion to bring extra socks. I find the Champion socks commonly available at Costco absorbs a lot of moisture. If you use these, wash them a few times before their factory treatment wears off. This makes them more effective in absorption and less slippery between the feet and the insoles.
extra pairs of socks, as well as using talcum powder, or foot powders will help absorb the moisture, and odours... Just remember to wash your feet off afterwards lol... it can get messy.
Get some wool socks. You feet won't really be any drier but they'll feel drier. I love wool socks for all sports. They give much more cushioning than cotton socks, they make your feet feel cooler (Yes I said cooler. Wool is very unique, it does a very good job of regulating body temperature and keeping you cool when you are hot and warm when you are cold) and drier and they help prevent blisters. I usually get light hiking socks which are thicker on the bottom but not too thick. If you don't want the extra cushioning get some wool running socks, they will be very thin. If you're a really heavy sweater change socks between matches.
