Need help if i need to buy badminton shoes.

    Ok currently i am playing on my high school varsity team and use jordan basket ball shoes. i find it a hassle how i kind of feel the weight of the basket ball shoes. will badminton shoes help me anyway or should i stick with the basketball shoes? i am currently playing varsity so i need to know if i would need footwear

    wow, what school do you go too? At mine, the coaches wont let you practice if you don't wear a pair of badminton shoes.

    As both Cheung and Kwun have said, they are a vital part of badminton. they keep your feet and legs stable and out of harms way. go buy a pair ASAP, if not sooner. It doesn't matter if you were JV or Varsity either.

    oh me i go to Ann Sobrato High School in MOrgan HIll (its the town right under san jose). so badminton is like the sport we do just to get out of class but most of the varsity are serisous but not that serious enough to go on forum like this.

    I will recommend you to get the badminton shoe as soon as you can...
    I don't believe the basketball shoe will give you sufficient in badminton games.
