..i think that member meant to write "crash and burn again in the final like in 2008, or even in earlier round in 2012"..

boy, these posts keep popping up, but yes, i somewhat concur with madbad abt the posts not being offensive or even personal (i just feel it's the reactions from a few which made it seemed there was tension)...sorry mods, i just think too quick of a trigger finger on the ban button on this..

1st,ur guideline is not others guideline,u dont think that is offensive doesnt mean that is not offensive.
this should be a clear concept,u guys are not children.
a simple example,it is a insult if u say a muslim is bxxx
but if i call madbad bxxx,he wont have any offensive feeling.
hope u guys get what i mean.
2nd,no one force the poster to post so
if he does,he need to responsible for what he will get back.
if madbad felt insult in example 1,he will sue me and i need to paid for it,of course.
clear?
lol

Let us return to Lee Chong Wei's current performance at the 2010 Indonesia Open
.
In a way, deleting a BCer's post will inform us to be careful about what/how we post.
So, let us return to Lee Chong Wei's current performance at the 2010 Indonesia Open.
In Round 1:
Lee Chong Wei [1]
[MAS] defeated
[INA] Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka 21-10, 21-14 in 30 mins.

..from what i recall, that member's posts didn't contain any offensive msgs or insults to any members at all (personal). I think it's the few members who picked them up & translated what that member posted as "offensive" or "insulting" which triggered the tension (then of course, would report to kwun/mods)...for me, if i read such posts, i would just ignore them (unless it was a personal insult)..no need to get worked up over them..*shoulder shrugs*..

everybody have their right to react/take action on what the read
if kwun give a guideline and say bcer must ignore those insensible post
then limsy will stop here and shut up
but
we are not robot
and everyone have right to choose(as long as it is legal)
just like what food u want to choose as ur dinner
how can u force all people who eating in kfc to join u in mcdonald?

at the same time, i think that member or whoever has the right to post whatever s/he wants as long as it doesn't contain any personal offensive or insult comments to other members. it goes both ways. even steven..
if anyone wants to make negative remarks abt lindan, then so be it..as long as it doesn't come to personal offensive or insult or vulgar language..
if it goes like this, then all the comments will be reduced to just positive or diplomatic type comments. where's the balance? where's the view/comments from the other side?..Last edited by ctjcad; 06-24-2010 at 03:40 AM.

From my perspective, I guess I did not feel the "heat" being generated his comments. I'm not LCW's personal bodyguard (like a few fans here seem to be) so there was no investment for me. I was irked, more than anything else, by his somewhat funky writing style. After a while it became too much work to interpret his postings as there were too many blanks to fill in, so I simply bypassed them.
In summary, I guess I'm wired in such a way I did not really find his postings overly offensive that it would drive me to call the mods. Other people must have found him different otherwise.
Oh, and don't worry limsy, I won't sue you
Just beat you up in a game of badminton

i'm sure whoever the member is, that member is responsible for their comment(s)..
but what did that member posted this time around which warrants a ban, again??..if i recall there was no personal insult or offensive comments in the member's posts this time around??..even madbad didn't find anything personally insulting or offensive other than the typical "making fun of LCW" comments (ho-hum)..
