I designed these jerseys about two months ago and finally got them today! I know they're extremely simple and basic but it took four tries before any designs were approved by the athletic department I will probably take this design and add more "flair" to it next year, by adding stripes or bands or waves or whatnot. What do you think?
"A picture is worth a thousand words" I'd prefer a badminton inspired drawing over 'badminton' on the front. e.g. line drawing imitating a person hitting a shot, used in BJ Olympics, or a jump smash, a racket hitting shuttle, or just a shuttle. Are you limited to two colors? If not, use more colors.
Definitely a pic instead of word"Badminton" would be more catchy..Also if it was a polo instead of a Tee it wud render a better clean outcome..
Nice simple design. Nice work! and congrats!!! You should see if you can get them made in polo style too Then you can flare the collars up
Yeah I definitely wanted to get polos but they are a lot more expensive... I have a budget defense meeting this week so hopefully we will get some more funding for next year. And my photoshop skills go only as far as piecing together tidbits or modifying some existing art, I'm not good enough to produce some abstract design out of thin air. I can visualize it but every time I try to translate that onto the computer, it turns out terribly. Thanks for the comments
Just wondering, as that was my first thought when I saw these, if it's supposed to be Penn University? I'd probably have placed the crest on the front above or below the word and increased the size a bit but other than that I also like it as it is. Less is more ... . Now that I see the "tm" it's probably not U of Penn(?). And now that I wandered onto the Penn Relays website I see the same logo/crest so it is after all. Slightly favor the University crest over the AD one (but probably not allowed right?). Haha I guess the crest above the sport is the basic design already.
Demolidor, I like the idea of using the "V" band part of the regular logo for the design of the jersey... but probably without the three circles. Unfortunately, since it is a sport club, we have to don the University of Pennsylvania Athletics logo, which is same logo for Penn Relays (which happened this weekend... I'm a few hundred feet from it). We can't use the regular university logo... too bad. And I'm not sure what to make of that Penn State comment so... I'm going to ignore it.
