Haha - I have been so busy!

Havn't even played for 2 weeks , the closest thing for me to actually playing badminton is being on this forum

! Too many exams.

I managrd to record another video but as it wasn't a competerive game my racquet isn't up as it usually is

Nothing serious here (no intense smash sessions or anything), I tried to hold off my smashes and even then I didn't put all into it, lol. Anyway, enjoy, comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated

I've just watched the first minute or so (so far) and one thing that struck me on the first serve that you hit was that your opponent was quite a long way back from the service line. I think you could've easily messed him up with either a forehand or backhand short serve. At 1-1, you had the right idea, moving your opponent with what was IMO, a good shot and the right one. You were unlucky it went out.

From the very short bit I've watched, perhaps you should look where your opponent is standing more - this would allow you to make a choice about which service technique would put your opponent in the most difficulty.

Thanks, Dan. I'll try focusing on that a bit more with different opponents, but with him I know that 90% of his returns will be clears.
