..from the videos (youtube), it sounds more like it's on top of concrete. Can't really hear much "wooden" sound...I would guess a sprung wooden floor (with an air gap in between) would be quite costly to install..also, it's in Philippines (SE Asia) where humidity plays a factor on wood..

..staiger, keep an eye on this forum (esp. the Tournaments section) in the next couple of yrs..We might have one right near your backyard & hopefully it'll break the current record of no. of BCers in a baddy get-together!.

An exhibition match between an ex - Indonesian national backup , who now plays for Bahrain against another Bahrain National Player Jaffar Ebrahim.
I recorded the match, being a line judge.

I believe that the Indo guy also trains the national team at Bahrain now.

Recorded the match while I went there to play this tournament. GPIC Junior GCC Badminton Open 2010. However, I lost in the semi finals.
