Well you can start by entering the Junior Internationals tournaments. If you live in central Europe then there should be one, either in your country or one nearby this year. It depends on which country you live in.

it's not free, but you can enter these types of tournaments if you are U19 (I think) I am not sure if there is one in France, but I know there is ones in Holland Belgium Germany etc. I will look it up and get back to you

lining just got around to watching your video. Post more!

One thing I noticed, for both of you there're almost no netshots that struck me as very good netshots. I think that has something to do with both of you taking the shots too late or try to put some spin to it idk. Try asking the pros here as you guys are definitely better than me so i'm not really qualified to give opinion .

looks good

give them few variations, sometimes it might work
for example high serve,
it might give you a disadvantage as they can smash it or intercept it, but it would add a little bit surprise element in your game.

do a net shot when returning a serve
yes I know they are young and ready for net kill any time, but they might not expect it. don't use it too often though

I would not recommend a high serve in doubles. You're just offering them the attack for no purpose.

Flick serve in doubles? Yes. High serve? No.

In both games, we were rather slow in the beginning. Took us a bit of time
to get going. We both have been playing mixed in the morning.
There are more flick serves in the semi.
My partner is in his 40s and i'm in my 50s and at this age, my reaction isn't
what it used to be.

You can tell by the first point in semi.
After having played 10 games, i was so glad we ran out of time to play the finals.

I notice you have one of my bad habits - when you are on forehand side defending, you get far too sideways on / backhand biased.

In general you hold your racket a bit too low.

you frequently dont split step.

at 50 you still got good reflex , techniques are very sound all round (please coach me !) have you been playing badminton for long? If I can play like that now at 20 than I would be over the moon ..

yup, you right..
two days ago, I played double for the first time in past 6 months
I tried to do high serve 2-3 times and my opp smash it straight away..

so now I would do flick serve for double

This is the 2nd set of my lengthly MS semi-finals - I'm the one in full blue. Won this set 22-20 but lost the 3rd one 25-23.

This video is a little bit old 1 year ago when i was 16 . Im the guy in Red and the other guy is my twin bro ^^

Excellent and keep going. I wsh to see you playing SS some day. Also both are very lucky to be blessed with such a brother.
One area of improvement what I see is, a few opertunities missed to make a decissive kill. May be this is a friendly training session and you play otherwise in a tournament. Having said that, I also understand that my game is no better than you-speed or technic.

lining - may I ask, does your twin bro beat you more often than you beat him? Just curious because it appears his technique (e.g. round the head forehand clear) and shot selection is slightly superior to yours?

Thanks nprince ^^ that will be a pleasure for me ( it's a dream ) . Badders2006 for the moment it's very close , we often do our match in 3 set because we know each other a lot . I will try to buy a new camera to record another match
