My friend's backhand
. This is probably the best way to see it: http://player.nos.nl/index.php/media.../tcm:5-502295/
In the vid I put up instead of from on top of a box/chest/apparatus it's like done by the girl @ 1:11 (but still with a 2nd person feeding).
To be fair to the rest of us
he's still ranked in the top 500 despite only appearing in 5 international tournament over the last 2 years.

Don't think I have any. Wanted to record one at the last dutch open but a bit too early for my liking
. Maybe next one
Don't know anything about his playing history. Kim Young Man, the new dutch national coach, previously the polish national coach the last few years and not unsuccessfully. Wonder how they lured him away ...
.
And before that I assume, haven't seen it mentioned directly, coach at the IBF training centre in Saarbrücken, Germany (one news item only mentioned coaching in Germany, another mentioned Saarbrucken).
Guess again ... Flying Doctor > "mr." Stephan

I'll finally be going home for the summer and be able to play in tournaments again! Will post a video of that. In the mean time I'll see if i can find a video that isn't too large.

Hi all, here is my video (6 min, only action):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SbVjZL2k6Q
so, what should I improve, what is my major weakness?
I'm on the camera side.

I really can't see the courtlines on the video

eitherway, good rallies, good footwork!
My advice would be to try and be more balanced at the forecourt with your body. You can see you're still moving quite a lot when you hit your netshots, try to be completely still when you play a shot, you'll be more accurate.

So, anyway, here's a short clip, as promised

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNEheMuFv28
The entire second set was just a tad too long, so from 0-0 tot 7-11 I just used the bets rallies, and then from 7-11 on it's the full match.
Please, let me know what you think, Keep in mind I'm playing a guy who is just clearly a step ahead of me

Yeah the lines are like invisible to me aswell
.
I havn't watched the whole video - I will do soon , but it looks like you did your split-drop a bit high on a few of them , but can't be sure only watching parts of it.
You looked good whilst playing - I wouldn't say you have a major weakness.

@ Jerby
Great match! wish i could play like that i really do. One thing i noticed is that you "jump, *wait*, smash" i think you can be more efficient if you just go for it.
*shrugs*

@nixem, you're good: good general shots, good serves, very good acceleration. So I've seen a lot of good things. Let me add a few more thing you should concentrate on:
1000% with Kriss, split step too high.
Here's a few things from my coach point of view:
-You're arriving the racquet too low at the net
-Your body is too high all the time (maybe because of the split step but I'd say it's your net racket preparation)
-try to jump more (higher) but stay stable on your feet (control)
-you are slow at coming back on smash returns (watch out for your left leg sometimes it does some weird stuff)
-need a bigger smash
-need fluidity on overhead
keep playing, it's promising, how old are you?
