    ^ drew: That you in grey? Very good strokes and footwork. You've improved a lot.

    Which phone is this that has high speed recording?

    Thanks for the comment!
    Yes it is, I'm really pleased with my backhand strokes I'm able to hit deep backhand clears
    This is just a warm up but when I have game play I'll upload it >.< hahaha

    We were using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
    When you record in slow mo the resolutions drops a lot, to 480p (I think)

    I'll bear it in mind when I play, but this was a warm up so I don't focus so much on that, in a game situation its important as well as when I'm training

    I have an SG3...can't wait for the Jelly Bean 4.3 update which hopefully has the high speed video recording for my phone.

    Next thing for your b/h is to practice drops from the deep b/h corner, to have some variation.

    I was hoping that someone here might have taken video of the weekend tournament at Edison. I usually play one tournament a year with plastic mavis 300. For those of you that have seen me smash a feather shuttle, you know how I can turn those plastic ones quite literally into bullets.

    Finally, after a long time, I was able to get some footage again...had a team match this last Sunday, and with my calf muscle healed I could play again. A lot of things need to be brought back to their previous level (jumping ability, lunges, leg strength and flexibility in general...) but considering the circumstances, I'm okay with my performance (played 5 times in 10 weeks :S).
    The opposing team is quite clearly in the lead in our division, and the Mixed Doubles team had been pretty successful so far. Having lost the first game, we managed to turn it around in the second, winning it 22-20, and lead throughout the 3rd game which we closed out 21-19 after a 20-17 or 20-18 lead, I believe. Sadly, the battery died halfway through the 2nd game, so the 3rd game which I felt was our best is missing.
    Big thanks to my partner who threw her back out at some point in the match and finished it despite the considerable amount of pain she was in.

    Men's Doubles match in the same team match. Played against one of the strongest pairs in the division. Should you not know me - we're the team with the green shirts, although I wear a black one in the MD. Also, my shoes are orange

    Yeah my camera setup is not ideal indeed. During the doubles game, one guy stands in the way half the time...anyhow, hope you can see at least a little bit

    @j4ckie

    How would you rate the 910 by the way? Did you changed the partner because of the service issue? Did you sponsor your partner with your worn out green 9000's?

    Ah no, the guy I played some tournaments with is currently in Switzerland and thus, not part of the team for the season At the moment, we're 4 guys, with a 5th coming back from injury. My partner's shoes are actually the golden SHB-86 - I believe no one has my size, and even if they did, no one would want anyone else's shoes

    The 910 is a nice shoe, not too shabby for the price. A bit softer than I was used to, not quite as stable around the heel as some others, but the cushioning is really nice, not too high but thick enough to prevent any of the heel/ankle/achilles problems I developed in the SH9000.
    After I've worn these out, I'll see what the SH8500 are like - so popular in the Korean team that they should (hopefully) be quite nice. It's a bit antagonizing to see them sit in my closet day in, day out, but if I were to start wearing them now while the 910 are still good I fear I might not put those back on

    Before anyone asks, I was playing with the N70 in the MD and N50 in the XD. The N50 is a bit stiffer and gripped with overgrip instead of towel, so in certain situations I like it better. Both are flexible enough for me to compensate for my still slow legs and get good length on forehand and backhand clears played behind the body, even crosscourt (with the f/h only - I'm not Taufik ).

    @j4ckie

    I know that place. I've played there a couple of times myself. Are you part of that club?
