string tensions....help needed..

    hi, i'm a beginner in badminton.. wanted to find how more things abt badminton. what is the range of string tension commonly used? is string tension is the most important factor in affecting the performance of players? is it true that lower string tension gives more power and higher string tensions give more control? and shld beginners use lower tensions? and why? thank u..

    You'll find that hardly anyone will reply because they are sick of this question :). This is a much debated question in the world of badminton...'which is the best string tension?'. But yes, lower tensions ensure more power because if the trampoline effect, and high tensions are better for touch, but you can get alot of power. It's up to you to find boundary between too tight and too loose, good luck!
