i've just gotten some Wilson pro overgrip but unlike most overgrip, there's just a small nip of adhesive tape at the start of the tapered end of the grip & nothing else. will it be able to stick well with just that small nip & securing the top end with the tape provided? or the adhesive was indeed missing & i'm supposed to put some on?
i have never seen overgrip with adhesives other than the little strip of tape that you described. you might have mixed up overgrip with replacement grip. replacement grip have adhesive/tape. while overgrip don't. the rubbery texture is more than enough to keep it on the handle.
Gorgeous! I overlap mine a bit more but wrap it all the way up the cone. The overgrip folds quite easily so you need to pull it quite taut -- or maybe I just have bad technique. Still, I think this racket looks the best with a white grip.
you're suppose to over lap it just a bit, but as for adhesives, i've used grip that doesn't have any and it works fine.
