Muscle doesn't develop that quickly, you may have broken down muscle and weakened yourself if you haven't given yourself time to recuperate.

Just relax, your partner is probably feeling the same. Play your own game and don't think about how good/bad the people you're playing are.

    Just have fun.
The best kind of fun though is winning.
    So just win.
Easier said than done of course.
Are you playing in some sort of school tournament or did I totally guess your age wrong?

A people have mentioned above try not too aggravate your muscles too much.

Normally before tournaments I run through youtube watching a lot of the international tournaments - it just helps me get mentally prepared :D.

The main thing is just to relax - if you try to hard your going to be more likely to make mistakes.

My tip is just enter this tournament see how well you do. You probably will be nervous, it happens to alot of people. The only thing I can really say you is enter as many tournaments as possible, the more tournaments you enter the more experience you'll have the less nervous you'll be. Sometimes experience preavails over muscle
