i also want to know, where to get mavis 2000? as i know, no shop selling nylon shuttle. maybe 3-6 tubes of mavis 300. hard to see people in MAS using nylon shuttle unless those kids playing infront or house. the gate as net. or back lane, pull a string across the back lane.
Yes, you are right, Malaysian trend is like this. The kids usually play using the house gate as the net. When I was a kid, I also played like that and when the shuttles fell into the drain, it doesn't matter, the game goes on and everyone ran helter skelter when the extra moisture reaches. Same as poor Amazons kids uses human heads as a football. I have called up Finn Penang ans he insisted that plastics are meant for countries that hard to get feather shuttles. But I doubt that Yonex will market a faulty product that will cause consumers lose confidence. If you can get any Mavis 2000, let me know a.s.ap. Tq.
i did ask before. open the catalogue, "hey boss, can i get this?" he replied, if you want nylon/plastic shuttle, there.... at my rack, no other choice. if you want mavis 2000, need to order a box. they cant sell the whole box even in 2 years. thus, not many or maybe one or two shops in MAS will sell that model. just dont hope too much to get certain model of nylon shuttle.
