Can ankle support really prevent tendon rupturing?
I am think of buying a ankle support to protect my foot from injury. Really scared me after I heard of someone has ruptured his tendon
Anyone has tried that ankle support?
It seems so helpful.

Unlikely... you probably need to strengthen your calf muscle progressively and warm-up and cool down properly. Dont forget to stretch too! If you have a sore Achilles tendon, you need to lay off the jumping smashes and seek treatment. See the following article at http://sportsnmedicine.blogspot.com/...dinopathy.html

Thanks sportsdoc. I started jogging now. Hope my calf muscle can be strengthened to prevent it happens. I just wondered if that product can help a fraction of the prevention work other than strengthening the muscle.^ ^
