Can anyone please tell me what is that thing for? look at the blue circle, there is a piece of half circle thing dropped when i tear off the original grip. this is the missing piece. Is it only arc-saber 10 come with this thing? will it causes any problem to my racket? btw...arc-saber10 really have a cheap paint..the paint went off when i tear off the original grip..as you can see in the first photo..
That's the new laser engrave which is done to the weight/grip/tension. As for the so-called cheap paint. Well it's water-based, so the paint is thin to keep the weight down, need to be more careful on taking care of the paint. It's not like in the past where it was lead-based paint which is very good however it was heavy and there was safety concern because of the lead.
lol...try to learn b4 you judge whether it's origin or fake hmmm..ic. how about the half circle thing? does it actually serve any funtion?
I'm not sure about the half circle since I never personally taken off the original grip off my own ARC10. My guess would be would be to hold the cone in place. Is there any other half circle pieces around the racket?
sorry ab the previous post... my arcsaber10 has sticker for the tension and weight.... as i know, i nv see the half circle piece.... i used to peel of the original grip too
my bad....... i just knew that the laser engravement is for production on July 2008 onwards..... once more sorry ab dat...
yeah, look at the upper side (the stapler there), you will see there is the same thing under the stapler there..i think there should be 4 in total..? (didn't remember it anyway... will try to look at it next time) hmm..then i guess the half circle thing doesn't do any effect at all? yeah...those high end product from yy which produced after August or sometimes near that were starting to use laser engraves.
Yeah, there are 4 of them and I had one of them come off when I took off the original grip. Doesn't seem to impact play at all so I wouldn't be concerned.
think its a defect? cause my friends have arcsabers and ask me to grip their rackets and i've never seen it before other wise id think its ok
Its not a Defect, i have seen it on Arcsaber 10's before as well. however, it has not fallen off for me.
i suggest sticking it back & putting your grips over it fast. it looks like something to keep the cone in place.
well, it seem so..will try and look for my another arc10 when i change my grip.. anyway...I still feel kinda weird of that half circle thing it's like a plastic thing and it's soft..i doubt it..
No i think you're right. There is something wrong with the label, its not correct. Cause if it was 3U and G3, shouldn't it be 3U / 20 ~25 lbs G3 / 9.0~ 11.0kg instead of 3U / 19~24lbs G3 / 8.5~10.5kg like in the picture. Cause shouldn't all 3U racket have the tension labeled " 20~25lbs" instead of "19~24 lbs"? I'm pretty sure Yonex is careful enough to not do typo's in their labeling.....
hmmm..... my arcsaber10 with sticker printed on it says 19-24 lbs too.... and it is original, checked by the other thread in the forum.....
Ohhh, okay then maybe its just my error. Maybe different rackets with different weight classification has different tension limits. Cause i have two racket, one is 4U and 3U. On the 4U it says 19~24 and on the 3U it says 20~25. Sorry my bad!
