she has the endurance... she can run around without getting tired. But technique wise, could be faster. But overall... she's pretty good already, but there's always room for improvement.

well...for me she's just another player that makes an impact early in their career and then disappear....just like Cheng Shao Chieh.....correct me if I spelled her name wrongly....the Taiwanese player was playing really well back in 05'-06'.....after that...now.....ntg is heard...

having watched a game of YIPPY last night. i have to partly agree with Cheung.
YIPPY has a very impressive looking jumpsmash. but while that looks good on TV, it isn't very good for her winning points.
she tends to jump way too often than neccessary, many times have robbed herself from any recovery time to react the next shots. also her jumpsmashes are not the most accurate ones, many of them lands way outside the doubles sidelines.
what she needs to do is to improve court coverage without too much jumping around. learn from the style of the great GZC, use the power only when in crucial points. improve speed and consistency will do her a lot more good than all those jumping.

Yeah , I think she also needs to sometimes use more tactics to outwhit her opponents other than sheer power.
Although she does have a very good attacking game - opponents with a good defence normally beat her.
A very good young player who we should keep our eyes on for her development

Yippy's performance these few months have been improving. She got reprimanded by the coach for over train before. Its good to see her gained some weight.
