I just got my friend to bring in 4 tubes from China. 49 should be the correct speed. With the RMB currently, the shuttles should be going for >S$30 each tube. This tubes costs me 140RMB each.

The flight is as good as AS40/50 and used to last much longer. From my last trial almost 1 year back, the durability has dropped slightly though.

Maybe the question should be how many people used it before, since the supplier already stopped to import it now.

Just bought a few tubes of Aeroplane EG1130, the quality is disapointing as compare to those I played before. It is not as lasting. The cock on one of the shuttle had detached from the feathers completely after a few smash. The quality is not even near Victor green label I would say.

It's one of the best shuttle i tried so far and my group member agree with me. Since they not bringing in anymore, i been looking for a shuttle that play as good as aeroplane EG1130.

Btw, i used victor green as well but aeroplane EG1130 is still way better(Imo).

Looks like the EG1130 were all suffering from old age-simple as that. In prolonged storage-and I am talking of years not months-in high humidity countries lin the tropics, shuttles begin to unravel.

    Hi,
same place, not many shops sell this brand anymore. That shop fellow told me he dared not to bring in too many also. The quality is far too poor than the other batch that I have played before.

I been using 818 special before i use aeroplane eg1130. Yes, it is indeed a good shuttlecock till i used aeroplane eg1130.

For now im currently testing RSL classic tourney, if is good i will continue to use if not then i just go back to 818 special. :D

the black tube RSL classic tourney is good, but not cheap, about same price as EG1130. like many shuttles, a lot of brands have lost their quality in order to maintain the price.

Recently, i used Carlton AG9.9, and i think it is good. cost about $24 per tube at some places. AG9.1 however, is not worth the money.

The shuttlecocks these days are so dependable on batches. You may not be getting your money's worth if you try to compare against the batches from the past. The durability depends largely on the impact you put on the birdie. If you want just opinion, I can provide these since I used to 'test' different brands/model of shuttleock in hope to cut down cost.

Carlton AG9.9 flies like a rocket but ideal for those on tight budget on a $24 tag.

RSL Classic Tourney is better and also budget birdie at $24 as well.

EG1130 is light and all my khaki seems to love it back then. Costly birdies now at $28.

PT-10 is a reliable birdie like the Sealion but costly at $27.

Now, I am using Sintec 818 and just stick to it as it is price between all the mentioned birdie above with relatively reliablility too.

Bro, can share where can purchase the above birdies? The prices you quote are all much cheaper than I can get. PT-10 we are paying $30. EG1130 I buy from China direct already $28.

    Please share your lobang. :D

Hmm.. the latest batch of EG1130 a friend got from China costs me S$32 :eek: due to the unfavourable conversion rate. It was a fairly good batch so I'm not complaining. The test shuttle lasted me 2+sets -- 1 easy singles, 1 tough doubles and then ~1/3 doubles before the flight goes bad enough.

Another group is using PT-10 and they get it in bulk purchase.

For EG1130, the price should be close to 30+ now. Really not advisable to get this since you can top up a few bucks to get Yonex AS-40.

It's an expensive sport nowaday as in most cases, the birdie price tag won't come down, it only stay constant or accelerate. :(
