It's difficult to play badminton at Dal sometimes because the badminton courts are such a liability to them :crying: They'll throw camps, Yoga, whatever onto the badminton courts, but never the basketball courts  Not many places in Halifax unfortunately, there's a strong group of players (by Nova Scotian standards) that play at the Citadel Community Centre on Wednesdays and share half the gym with the juniors, but they're picky on who they'll allow to join them as far as I know (I'm a junior :p)

Do you have contacts down here already?
I could certainly put you in touch with folks of an intermediate level.
But if you are top-of-the-line, I'd have to refer you elsewhere.

I'm not top of the line. A couple of years ago I played B/C tournaments in Ontario, but am now plagued with arthritis in the knees. I'm a level 2 coach. My daughter visited the Dal group only once or twice during the school year, so she doesn't really know anyone. I'm kinda surprised that i can't find any club sites online, not even on NSBA.

Well, I can't speak for NSBA since I don't belong. Suffice it to say that it is a small sport in a small province. There isn't much money to be had from sponsors to keep up a big organization. However I think the volunteers have a lot of heart.

Anywho, I'll PM you regarding with whom to play during your stay. :)
