that sounds very bad. i am very sorry to hear that. she will be in my prayers daily.

not sure if anyone here has met the Panda. i met him once 5.5 yrs ago during the WC2005 down in LA. at that time, we organized a BC gather in SGVBC. Panda helped us reserve the courts and helped me out a lot organizing the event. you know that Panda is really the size of a Panda, a 200lbs imposing figure that you normally wouldn't want to bump into in a dark alley. but in reality, Panda is the nicest of person, despite helping out the gathering, he trucked in at least 2 HUGE tubs of Gatorade for everyone's consumption and is the friendliest person to talk to. now i understand how that comes to be after Panda's message today: he was brought up really well by Panda Mama to be a kind and loving person. and it makes it extra sad to hear that she is so ill now. we wish her a speedy recovery and again, she will be in my prayers.

    200lbs.?! Kwun is too nice. Panda's 240.

Thanks all for your support. I will show this to my mother.

Andrej: A few others felt it swung a bit heavier. Panda feels it's on par, not significant.

Feels kinda weird to switch topic and write about rackets again :/ I'm constantly thinking of Dan's mother whenever I look at my Panda rackets...

Well, lets get to it - the TPro might swing a tiny bit heavier - I had only 2 hours of play tonight, so I can't review, but the first impression is very very good indeed. Seems like this is gonna be THE PP racket for me - even though the timing was a little off and the rubber grip felt unusual (towelling grip fanatic), it felt like I can use this racket to it's full potential (perhaps after another week of training).
The 287/83,8g I got feels very nice, even coming from the N50 and N50II. It's noticeably lighter and thus faster in defense, but also noticeably slower than the 287/83,xg Precision I have. In comparison to the Precision, it feels slower and heavier (1g and 3mm by rough estimation - Panda would know better as he has access to many more BP&weight combinations). But that was to be expected and exactly what I was looking for.

So, I'm very excited about the next few weeks - adapting to (&reviewing) the TPro, going to the GO (semifinals and finals), and the shipment with my 2nd and 3rd TPro...at least those won't be stuck at customs (it's a hassle. Everyone automatically assumes I bought a fake racket on ebay!).
If I haven't mentioned it yet, you're doing a great job, Dink I hope you will keep up the good work and I get to enjoy many more dc rackets (perhaps, if I'm lucky, even play against you one day)!

Very sorry to hear the news Dan but know your mom is a strong positive
person who has a very strong support system in her devotion to her faith.
Had the pleasure of meeting her and indeed she is a very sweet lady who
left a great impression with me. Will be saying a nice prayer tonight as
    requested.
