I don't know Panda, or anything about Panda Power, and I'm a complete newb at badminton, but it's just as saddening for me to hear about what has happened to Mama Panda. I hope she will recover fully as soon as possible, and no one in the family should ever lose hope: it may be inoperable for humans, but God can heal anything if you put your faith in Him.

I will be keeping Dan's mother in my prayers as well during her time of need.

I ask that anyone who has more well wishes and prayers go here to post them:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...ng-for-Prayers

By keeping all of the prayers and well wishes in one place, we can make it easier for Mama Panda to see them and draw strength and hope from them. I hope Panda does not mind I went ahead and did this for him and his mother.

G., thanks for all your time and effort and thank you all for your well wishes and good e-mail info on alternative medicine.

Depends on the USPS, usually 5 to 10 business days + customs delay(s) if any.

    I'm normally using a T2 86,2/294 or my old MP100.

But they are nothing compared to the UPro!
At the first strokes it was oozing of power, and I had NO trouble at all clearing way beyond baseline from the other side. And doing so required no power compared to the other raquets I own. My timing was a bit off, and had a few mishits, and I had a hard time keeping the shuttle within the boundaries (sides included).

At game time it was still a overload of power in my hands; I use 70% power compared to my T2 to make a clear. And when I learned to wield the power, I managed to keep everything within the lines.
It's very precise, when you get it right (only played a few hours with this baby), and in the end it was no big deal placing the shots directly where I wanted them.
Defense-wise I find it outranking both my T2's and any other raquet in my bag (MP100, ARC8 & AT900T). When recieving a smash, all you need to do is line up the UPro, and it fires the shuttle right back in their face with ease . Very quick to handle when defending!
My backhand has always been my weak side, and still is, but with the UPro it's all become much easier because it has so much power and is so easy to use!

    Compared to my T2,
    Power is 160%
    Control is 115%
    Defense is 150%

And once again, Mark A, has done an exceptionally job with the stringing! Hands down, the best stringer I've tried!

The folks at my club are beginning to be more and more interested in my PP's, even my coach has said very nice things about them.
One of my opponents even began shouting "PANDA POWER"!!! every time I was lining up a smash.

I've only tried it for a few hours, but atm. the best raquet I've tried to the date. Beginning to re-considder buying 2 TPro's instead of another UPro.......
    Hi OliverHH,

What string and tension do you use? I am ordering one as well and still waiting for the racket to be delivered.

Already broke the string on my TPro :/ (ZM62@26, didn't mix well with 30min. smash drills)
Hope my string job can somewhat match Dink's and the racket continues to perform as well as it did Friday night (still not able to review though)

I would only recommend ZM62 to those who either only hit medium hard, or almost constantly hit the sweet spot. Otherwise it's too fragile.

I'll use it again once I'm used to the TPro - I'm still hitting a few shots off centre. Although the final smash which broke the string was hit perfectly^^ Imop, I don't have a very fast/hard hit, so I'm a bit surprised with the recent drop in string durability :/ I know why pro's use thicker strings - the .62 strings wouldn't last until the mid-game interval^^ Went with a BG80@26....if that breaks as fast again, I'm gonna kill someone. I don't wanna play with 65 or 65Ti D:

I understand your frustrations completely. There are plenty of thick string alternatives that have lots of durability, but still offer more than BG65 in the playability department. For Yonex, you can try BG70Pro, BG68Ti, or NGY95. For Ashaway, you can try ZyMax 67, ZyMax 70, Micropower, Micropower XL, Microlegend, and Microlegend XL.

I think BG-80 is also a good choice, in terms of durability and performence.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Played only with .66 or thinner strings lately, so I think it'll last longer than those...even though my racket head speed seems to have improved with the TPro

I use BG80 and normally 22lbs. but for the UPro I went down to 20lbs.

That'll take some more time - I haven't fully adapted to the racket yet...
