Panda Power: A Racket That Can Take 40lbs. String Tension!

I strung my T2's at 29lbs and they're both stable. No mentionable deformation, and both still going strong (one survived a few clashes in defense).
I do a top-down string job with the upper supports kinda low on the frame - so I start the crosses with a slightly lower tension than the mains and go a bit higher on the 6th or 7th (for a 29lbs string job, that's 28-28,5 at the top and 30 from the 7th/8th on). I find that setup to be ideal as the frame is usually weakest at the 10 and 2 positions, where I have the cross tension reduced to avoid deformation (which is always a sign of increased stress).

@Teebs: when a racket breaks like that, usually it's the stringer and/or due to a clash. Breaking in three points usually indicates the racket was strung unevenly or at extremely high tension.

Also you mentioned you purchased two and they both caved in like that?!?!?! Something is definitely up.

Those stats sound nice, I always felt the precision was too flimsy for me but love the speed, hope this improved one is alot better

Ya, I have a couple suspects as well Although we probably won't see him using it in any competition. Sponsors are a little unflexible in that regard

Nah, but probably because it's still a rather quick racket and kinda easy on the arm compared to the rest of the line-up...and defensive with the right specs
