I strung my T2's at 29lbs and they're both stable. No mentionable deformation, and both still going strong (one survived a few clashes in defense).
I do a top-down string job with the upper supports kinda low on the frame - so I start the crosses with a slightly lower tension than the mains and go a bit higher on the 6th or 7th (for a 29lbs string job, that's 28-28,5 at the top and 30 from the 7th/8th on). I find that setup to be ideal as the frame is usually weakest at the 10 and 2 positions, where I have the cross tension reduced to avoid deformation (which is always a sign of increased stress).

I have no idea then, some pictures for the sadists out there (the first is the one that lasted 10 minutes, the second the one that broke during stringing):

@Teebs: when a racket breaks like that, usually it's the stringer and/or due to a clash. Breaking in three points usually indicates the racket was strung unevenly or at extremely high tension.
Also you mentioned you purchased two and they both caved in like that?!?!?! Something is definitely up.
Please e-mail this Panda and let's see what he can do for you. Sorry this happened.

UK is down to its last TPro - 291/87.1. The next ones (if any) will be coming with the Revs.

Coming soon: a new and completely redesigned Panda Power Precision Limited Edition.
The new Precision is actually going to be used by a current, active top international player.
He was so impressed with the new Precision he's purchasing 15 of them with his own money.
The new Precision benefits:
1) Much stronger frame than its predecessor, warranted up to 32lbs. ECP string tension.
Using Toray M40J graphite (30% stronger/more tensile strength than M40, at a loss of only 3% in stiffness)
2) Improved butt cap
3) Improved finish
4) Stronger, more durable shaft.
Will post an image of the design in about a day.

Congratulations on the new design and its professional supporter, Dan!!
Would his current sponsor ever allow him to use a PP racket in competition?
How cool would that be!
(Such international exposure would be all the more reason to release those PP shirts some day.)
BTW -- looking at the time stamp on your announcement -- do you ever sleep?

Those stats sound nice, I always felt the precision was too flimsy for me but love the speed, hope this improved one is alot better

A little more stiffness and it's a great racket....I'm actually getting pretty excited over this!!

Specs sound pretty good for the new Precision Limited Edition. Any word allowed on who this professional international player is?
04-07-2012, 09:33 AM #5587
^ I have my suspicions as to who it is, but don't want to look like an idiot by guessing and if being wrong...
04-07-2012, 09:34 AM #5588
Ya, I have a couple suspects as well Although we probably won't see him using it in any competition. Sponsors are a little unflexible in that regard

If it is totally redesigned, why is it still being called the precision?
04-07-2012, 09:47 AM #5590
cuz it's still precise....?
Nah, but probably because it's still a rather quick racket and kinda easy on the arm compared to the rest of the line-up...and defensive with the right specs
04-07-2012, 10:10 AM #5591
not really easy compared to the rest of the lineup - it's more difficult than all of the trinitys (ies?)!
04-07-2012, 10:12 AM #5592
Well then it's the Precision DX :P The frame shape should still be similar though....otherwise I would have to concede there's no reason to call it Precision
04-07-2012, 10:19 AM #5593
hehe. same shape frame as the trinity? They are all called aero on the website. So just call this racket tpropro?
