Then don't use plastic resin?
Although there are exotic polymers that do conduct electricity. Don't think you'd use those though.
I have to admit it's got me confused as well. Then again I last covered electroplating 5 years ago... Carbon graphite does conduct electricity so no problem there. Attach it to the anode by mistake and you have no racket though! (Not that I ever did something daft like that, admittedly it wasn't a racket.)
What has me confused is why coat something made of graphite in metal/something conductive? Unless it's a very thin coat. Even then I'm not sure, it would just make it shiny, I can't see it aiding performance.
I'm assuming the powers that be know what they're doing!

I thought the powder coating and electroplating was for the cosmetic aspects of the racket.

They were, but further back in the deep dark depths of this thread Dink mentioned that having so many decals on the racket wasn't good for the graphite. Don't quote me on that, it was something that affected performance by an undefined amount if I remember correctly.
Dink was started the whole new coating technique to resolve this. However in my opinion coating a racket in a thin layer of metal is unlikely to be any better or worse than decals/paint.
Mind you for all you people obsessed with looks I guess sacrificing some performance is worth it.
I have to say I don't mind something looking good if performance isn't affected though!

I hope I'll be as satisfied as I am with the Trinity. Hoping for a little more punch.

?! I think that's an oxymoron. I recall panda saying he smashes and lets his partner clean up if anything comes back.
