Internal/extrenal rotations at the gym - get them rotator cuffs built up.

Some rackets already strung (the yellow works, by the way), awaiting string for the remainder. Shipping starts next week.

My reconstructed shoulder would struggle a lot. That's a few years worth of work to get that anywhere back to reasonable.

And awesome on the yellow, I could only hope eh? I'm excited, hoping they arrive in time to use next week.

Never hurts to put in that work though - you need little time and effort to train up your rotator cuff only, and it really pays off!

Well, it's held up to 23 and 24, which isn't saying much.

I was really looking forward to playing with this racquet, and for me, it didn't disappoint......
These racquets are slightly more head heavy to what I am used to and prefer, but by the time I had added my ribbed grip on top of the original and strung it, it wasn't that noticeable.
I strung the first racquet at 26-28lbs in BG80 YELLOW, and the string is a perfect colour match to the frame, and this felt fantastic. Effortless clears, good feel for drops and the smashes had good direction, felt strong and well timed - every time. And the smashes just got stronger as time went on and confidence grew. The net/touch shots felt good and had real control over how much power I wanted to put on the shuttle without over hitting it. Really pleased with it.
The second racquet, I strung in Zymax 65 Black at 26-28lbs again, and I must say I wasn't as impressed with this, I felt as though I was having to hit harder to get the same amount of power out of it. But I think this was down to the strings more than the racquet (maybe a pound or two less might sort that out). But as for the for the racquet, good feeling on the swing and felt strong in my hand.
Really pleased with first impressions, and looking forward to playing with them more.

    Nice!
Helps narrow down my string choices down to those I've got in yellow only.

Any issues defending with this big head weights?

Absolutely not - my 305 feels like a 295, if anything.

The TK9000 must have immunized me, or something.

No issues at all for me, its not like it is 'mega' head heavy, just ever so 'slightly' head heavy.....
No, really like it and looking forward to playing with again. Going to get rid of the Zymax and lace it with BG80, so I have two identical bats.....But I really don't like cutting out 'good strings', and I also want to try the Gosen 110.....To many options!

Cutting string is the lesser evil compared to busting your shoulder with the wrong tension surely!

Cheers for comments and review. I'm coming from braveswords not thrusters so I was a little worried. I'm sure the first clean smash will more than make up for it I previously sold a powerhouse of a racquet because it couldn't defend for toffee, it was quite flexible though.
ETA Thursday, not playing til Tuesday though. I'll attempt a review next week.

Dare I use red string for a direct comparison against my rev? Hmmm it would be fugly but play well.

Yeah I see where you are coming from, and agree, and I don't do pain/injury well....

No such colour as Red, Red does not exist!

So Yellow is the way forward.

Gosen first - I'm telling you, you'll dump BG80 and save a fortune.
