Sir! That's YOUR towel grip modification. Do not think you have all the answers because you do not know all the variables in this situation:
1) Panda has measured some of Casey's racket after the modifications and those were the results.
2) Casey cuts his towel grip extra long, it goes 1"-2" above the cone
3) Casey wets the towel grip with water to make it hard and flat, thinner. He likes the thinnest possible grip to get whip, max wrist snap.
4) Casey uses powder grip and continually packs it on.
5) Panda has measured one Casey used/old towel grip at over 20g! It was a compact brick of sweat, grip powder and water. That was crazy.

I see the discrepancy now

I personally also use the Yonex and Ashaway towel grip rolls which are pretty dense compared to the Yonex AC402DX JP and even when I grip over the cone and slightly covering the shaft, I have never exceeded the 10g mark of the stock grip (yes, I have measured the weight and BP as I'm sensitive to weight).
But what you said about Casey is an extremely out of the blue moon case; the act of intentionally wetting the towel grip to make it "feel thinner" and then indirectly increasing the weight, continuously using the towel grip even after it has "bricked up" etc. I personally think he should be using a thinner and lighter/less dense towel grip such as the AC402DX I have mentioned
Congrats on your 12000th post by the way

Darn broke a string in the second match. Rushed maybe getting it strung so my fault.
All I can say its very fast, stable, and drives the bird very well. Didn't really get to smash
much or do too much touch shots. Looking forward to trying it again as the speed is kind
of addictive. Does kinda remind me of a MX80 but in my opinion faster but both drive the
bird very well. Once I try it more can give a more accurate report .

Hmmm...
After playing with my 3U VTZF in a doubles match...ugh...I was really having difficulty in keeping up with the speed of the game. Switch to my N90II and did much better but was still a bit slow around the net. Thinking maybe I should get a pure doubles racket.
I wonder which will be better...Precision Pro or Victor MX JJS?
Decisions, decisions, decisions...
