Fidget, thanks for your concern but I am not giving up my original specs it is just that having read about Panda's recent tests of the T-pro I was just wondering if I needed to stay at BP295. One obviously places a pre-order based on the limited information that is available at the time but as more detail becomes available as to how the racket plays it may that you have to adjust (if possible) your original order.

I have no problem in waiting two weeks or even longer!

    Sure thing!

And sorry to all for the delays and the inability of the manufacturer to get everything right...

...no wonder others use the "U" system and say balance light, medium, heavy. So much easier.

The Panda system is what makes the product so unique and so sort after, something which can't be faulted.

    Keep up the great work!

    Cheers
Panda thinks the TPro just hits harder overall than the previous Ts. Could be the shaft changes, the frame improvement which feels better and makes the wielder feel like it hits harder. Could be Panda has improved since two years ago.

Panda would say if you know what your ideal specs are, stay true to them but Panda always advocates a few things as does Tony G. (Panda asked him):

    1) If given a choice, it's always better to go lower than higher in racket weight and BP.

    2) Play with the thickest string and lowest tension you can "tolerate".

And Tony. Don't forget Tony, he's the Grand Master. Panda is just the apprentice.

just wonder why you string BP280 racket less than BP286...just for testing or because you need more pop from light head racket?

Please do not read too much into anything or assume things. Everything is done for a reason.

Rackets are strung at different tensions so a variety of people can use them. If everything was string at 30+, not many would say the rackets are good.

Notice also one is strung with the 0.62 string and the other with 0.67 ...

    @demolidor:
I think the problem is, Zymax 0.62 cannot handle 30lbs..
it can handle it, but only for few shots and it will snap

    that's why Zymax 0.67 used for 30lbs

Erm I think you should explain it to cayzi, I have already tested both . I was just pointing out that is also a reason for the tension difference instead of the bp

ZM62 at 30lbs. is like BG65 at 34-35lbs., quite tight.

Panda has an Ultra Pro strung with ZM62 PT at 29.5lbs. It's so nice.

Aw man, this doesn't look good at all^^ I'm one of the endangered 290-and-above 'pre-orderers'.....and I'm already awaiting it with excitement, how shall I endure another 2 weeks if I am one of the unlucky few?^^
Actually, the 2 weeks wouldn't absolutely kill me, but it would be uncomfortable, knowing others already get to try it out^^

Yes, this is Panda's schedule today:

    Now until 1pm: string rackets

1:30-4:00pm: drop-off TPros and then go play/test rackets at SGVBC.

4:45pm: back at Panda's Cave for a Mini-Super Bowl Party with a few BCers.

6-9pm: watch Super Bowl and string rackets.

    9-10pm: rest a bit

10pm to 3 am: string more rackets and prep packages for shipping.

Midnight to 4AM: watch Superbowl, try to stay awake . (at least I won't watch it in the comfort of my own bed else it'd be mission impossible)
