I just got myself a Trinity and just fell in love with it. Easy to use racquet for a beginner like me.

Yes, the T2 is the latest and hopefully last iteration of the Trinity. Panda found it could be made a bit better so Panda did it.

I have all the top racquets from Li Ning and Yonex but I'm yet to find a better racquet than the Ultra (the first generation). Strung at 30 to 33 pounds, it's a peerless triumph of a racquet!

I've tried these strings: the Ashaway ZM-70, the Yonex BG-66 and the Li Ning 101.

I didn't like the ZM-70 (wasn't that the original string, Sir Dink?).
I switched to the BG-66 but it never survived more than 4 sessions. Currently, I'm using the LN 101 - and it is holding up nicely.

I also have the 2nd Gen Ultra and the Trinity - but I remain a fan of the first Ultra

As for string, I think you should try ZM70 at 33-34lbs. I believe your U1 was strung with ZM67. It does not perform as well as ZM62 or ZM70 for some reason. ZM62 is still the best performing string I have tried but it's only recommended up to 28lbs. (which plays like 31lbs.).

I've been using ZM70 at 30-31lbs. and it's great. Since you like ultra-high tension, try it at 33-34lbs.

Have u ever tried the yonex isometric SP 900 SX or the Ti SP SX before years ago? Just curious to know how's that compared to the U1
