There's something on the frame on the right side of the dc logo.

Anyways whats the red dot in the first pic??? Because I notice that too on my Ultra 2.

That dot is to denote where to place the 12oclock support on the stringing machine. At least, thats what I use it for.

I figured that was a combination of dust and a reflection. Is the reflection a mistake?

That looks like a reflection of the window.

That's the centre marking of the frame, probably to help guide in centering the racket for drilling the holes.

Sketchy's back at it. What do you think of the Pander Power "Thunder"?

Specs:
Frame: Isometric Power Frame, Toray 40T+CNT (Carbon Nano Technology)
Shaft: Regular Shaft, Toho-Tenax Super 30T
Weight: 84-86g
BP: 300-305mm
Stiffness: 8.0-8.5
Purpose: Attacking for all levels
Tension: up to 34lbs.

It's very subtle (and sorry, that picture doesn't show it very well at all).
One of the U-shaped grommets is the wrong kind - (long instead of short) and also put in the wrong way around.
I could see something was just slightly off, but it took me ages to work out exactly what it was.

Anyways, the PP Thunder reminds me of the old days. Wasn't one of the first prototype names "Thunder"? The new design reminds me of a less blinding RSL X3 Gold. And 300-305? Thats really head heavy, right? Why the sudden decision to make a super head heavy racquet?

Boo! That doesn't count, hard to discern from the angle of the photo. Also, you said "deliberate mistake". I don't think that was deliberate from the factory.

At least I hope not.

No, you have to look at the BP relative to the weight. 300-305 is head heavy but not really head heavy. Really head heavy is 312-315.

How's the Thunder going to fit in the PP lineup?
Those specs look like it's going to be a head heavier, power frame version of the T2. I'd guess it gives up a bit of defence and mobility for more attacking as compared to the T2...

Yep, exactly. Some people just love offense with a splash of defense. Offense that's easily achieved I should say. With the U1 and U2, it's not easy to achieve but very rewarding if you can.

Dang it! In addition to the Woven, now this would be another racket that I'll have to try out!

I'd been thinking that my T2's could afford to be more head heavier to bp295 as it is very mobile already. When's ETA expected? After the Woven?

This is what I am talking about ! I will wait till this come out , I am not too interested in the T2 after reading the specs of Dc thunder , it is beautiful. love gold....hence I am using my NS8000

Is this going to come out in the same time as the Woven ? and when will this be ? March
