    Hi evryone,
    I need help please...
i got problem with my YY AT 900P(it's authentic 4 sure)
(it's SP codec since i'm indonesian).
The groments broke, here i had upload some photos, it's a month old racket, i hv sent the racket for warranty claim, but they reject my claim.:crying::crying::crying:
    I'm using NBG 98 at 30lbs
Things that really made me so mad is, that my friend YY AT 900T got an exactly same problem... n a few days ago i met 3 people in sport shop, surprisingly they said that they got an exacly same problem(YY AT 900 P/T) (they said the tenssion they use is 28lbs-29lbs)....
    i'm really confuse...
I wonder is it my, stringer, or yonex fault??
is there any way to repair it??
    ThankZ for reply..
    Thank Xou everyone..

Too many missing grommets. They all broke? If you send to YOnex to claim with all the missing grommets.. no wonder they reject your claim.

The AT series are known for crappy grommets and weak graphites as indicated by your photos. I would stay away from them.

I guess if you strung your rackets at anything more than the recommended tension, the factory warranty of the racket will be voided, no matter whether the fault is from the stringer, owner or even factory.

can you clarify what actually broke? in your first post you said the grommet broke, but yet in your photos you didn't include the grommets in your photo.

If the frame not bend inside, it wouldn't be called At900P.
Almost all 900P not really strong for the frame, may be it's to elastic.
I had mine too like yours, even mine is 900P JP.:(
If you couldn't get exchange with the new one, what you can do is by putting some frame protector as you can see in the attachment.

you cut the strings and have removed the grommets right? you are saying that the string tension has made an indent on the frame, right?

what he meant was not the grommets.
it was actually the weaker frame itself.
He took out the grommet to show to us that the frame under the grommets has bended inside (go inside) because of the tension.

    i just wanted to clarify.

if strung at 30lbs. there is really not much that Yonex will do as that's over the recommended (and warrantied) tension.

I agree AT900P will caused this type of problem as my friend had the similar problem. Normally it will happen when you srung with high tension:crying: Whereas AT700 will caused crack when strung with high tension:crying:

I've had 3 at900p and this is a common problem even if the grommets are brand new. The only way is to use string protectors!
