Is it better to use a 4 knot string technique or 2 knots string technique?
Which last longer? Hold tension better? Or safer?

I couldn't find this on search but if there's already a thread, feel free to direct me there. :)

I always string 2 knots unless manufacture string pattern states otherwise.
Have found no problem with tension, how long will it lasts depends on you as a player.

Hi all, just had thought. when stringing with 1piece 2knot does it matter to add 10% on cross?
Normally I did 2piece 4knot and add 1lbs. Recently tried 1piece 2knot its easier and faster to string, however does 10% applicable to 1piece?
Reason I ask: say if I tension 20lbs on main and 30lbs on cross (note: just a make up number to make easier for example).
At the last main which connecting to cross, I think this part will even out.. say to 25lbs.
So we have a racket with 20lbs mains and on one side the tension will increase to around 25lbs.
The same happen to cross, will have 30lbs and for the cross near to connecting to main will have 25lbs?
