Only u can answer this question as everyone uses something different. But if you haveno starting point, I'd say Bg80s at @ 25lbs is a good reference point to string at.

What is the condition, is it 3U or 4U? 25 shouldnt' be a problem if it's in good condition, and you have a good stringer.

Hi, i have a relatively new 3U AT-800 Defensive as well. Is it safe to string NBG-98 @ 28lbs ?

Reason for me wanting to string @ 28lbs is because the tension will drop to 26lbs after a while, and 26lbs is my ideal tension.

    Is it safe ?

Nothing is safe at that tension >.<

To be honest, NBGs are a stiff string, so that'd be like 30-32 with BG-80, can you handle that? If you can, you need a very very good and highly experienced stringer, someone with a GOOD 6 point mounting system and a bit of luck. It's feasible, and with the right circumstances, somewhat safe, but I'd still be worried.
