Warming down?

    Hi guys,

    after a hard session what do you guys do to warm down?

    Any advice appreciated as i too often forget to warm down :confused:

    I think I just end up doing slow high clears at each other as we get tired....I dont' really warm down that much, but essentially you want to slow down the pace of stuff so your body gets a smooth transition from playing badminton to your rest state.

    yeh thats the thing i go to a few singles sessions, slightly above my level- at the end im exhausted, not easy to warm down from!

    some ab crunches, stretches and some simple exercises to maintain ur fitness cools me down after a session of badminton.

    Its most important that you run through your entire body stretching excersises. Helps prevent injury and soreness. If you have worked hard enough you are always going to feel the pain.
    But make sure you have a good stretch session at the end of each training session.
