It is now 90% confirm that Ratchanok will withdraw from China SS.

She injured her back from practice field and couldnt do a full-court practice for two weeks already. She is visitting hospital for therapy.

have to wait and see if she can recover in time for Japan SS.

Ratchanok herself said that she wanna play in both tournaments since her SS ranking is not yet qualify for SS final.

Anyway, it is good for her in the long run not to play while she is injure.

I feel that CHN WS will not dominate very soon. Other than LXR and WYH, the young CHN players are not up to par yet. Other than RI, there are Sindhu, TTY, .Busanan, Carolina Marin, Nozoma who all have great potential.

Interestingly, at least 3 out of 5 mentioned name i.e Busanan, Marin and Nozomi has had a training session with Ratchanok's coach in Thailand.

I am not with you on this that CHN WS will not dominate very soon.
From what we seen from CHN WS, it does not take long for the 'young CHN players' to catch up to the seniors. Maybe it is CHN training system/partners, maybe it is the extremely competitive environment in CHN that they are so many gifted players fighting for the 3-4 WS spots that enable CHN to keep producing world class, mentally tough players.
A CHN WS player has only so many chances to impress LYB/ZN before they are toast. CHN is like a factory that keep finding and producing a steady stream of world class players. Whereas the ROW, if they have a super player, that player has player power status and can have a long career since he/she may be the only 1 that the country has.
I figure player like WSX will be out soon, the next batch of WS players from names we have not heard of, will be taking over. LXR should be safe and so is WYH, but if they falter, they are out too.

TTY and RI are very young, and have room to improve further, that I would bet on if they are stocks. As to Apple and Google, I may have missed the boats betting on their stocks (Apple was trading at $150 when I was recommended to go in but I walked away and we knew it went to $700), but given the price today and tech-stocks-are-as-good-as-today-until-something-new-comes-along, IMO Apple has peaked and will not come back to the USD700 figure, and Google looks very promising but with the unit price today, how to go in and how much room it will go or tank? I am with Warren Buffett, not buy something I am not confident in and personally not buy something that I cannot sleep if the stock tanks.....Hahaha!!!

The Thai WS coaches really did a great job recently producing a group of young and highly skillful talents like RI, Busanan, Nitchaon, Porntip, ...Prapakamol, .....

How I wish they are Malaysian - not to worry though, China will always be the main challenger
in Ladies badminton - since they have so many up and coming young players.
But the days of their complete domination is gone forever.

'the days of their complete domination is gone forever', I am not sure about the word 'forever' in that sentence. I would think 'for now' to replace 'forever' is more appropriate.
True CHN 3rd WS single (WSX) is vulnerable, CHN is missing WX. CHN has so many up and coming WS players, like a factory producing WS players at a rate bypassing the ROW.

So. let's see what the ROW really have in world class WS players that can beat these CHN girls:
    INA: None
    DEN: None
MAS: None for now, none for a looong time to come unless Tengku can rescue
IND: SN, SPV - honestly, they are good, not proven winner.
Thai - RI (great for beating LXR at home), but the rest are good for now, not great.
KOR: Sung, Bae - Only Sung can spring a win over CHN top WS player, Bae is good, not great.
Germany: JS (great, but granny age in baddy)

That is about it from the Rest of World.
The thing about CHN is her provincial teams that produce all these great young players. From the recent post regarding new CHN WS coming up, I would think WYH and even LXR would have to be on their toes just in case they are forced into early retirement. Only 3-4 spots are open for CHN WS players, I cannot imagine how competitive it must to represent CHN.

Probably worth mentioning TTY and the Japanese girls ST and MM are there or there abouts, but I agree with your point.

Agree with you that I forgot to mention JAP WS players and Taiwan's Tai. They are good, young and have room to improve, but to beat the CHN girls especially in major titles including China Open when the CHN girls are so well prepared/trained and wanting to win is difficult. That is why that RI won WC13 in CHN is remarkable, equal to what WMC did when she won CO07 but rated higher since this is WC over CO. But nevertheless, beating the CHN girls in CHN was a huge upset.

I am sure that she will do further better in the coming years.
IR WC win over LXR is a huge upset and a great achievement, and having won WJC 3X at this young age is remarkable. The problem for the ROW is she is the only 1 to score a major title in an event that CHN wanted to win too. I like to see her beat LXR again, but I would not bet on that happening. The CHN girls will be prepared for her the next time.

IND WS players are basically 2 very good players and SPV did upset the CHN girls but until they can beat the CHN girls for a major title that CHN wants to win, I would not go that far to say they are great that I would bet on them to beat the CHN girls in a major title event. Honestly, would you bet real dollars on them facing the CHN girls every time? I would take your bet any time. SPV is young and she can only get better, but would she be better enough to consistently beating the CHN girls, like LCW did against the entire CHN MS squad. Now, LCW is great, WR1 despite CHN aiming a bull-eye target at his back.
