Inthanon and Tai are considered child prodigies though not quite the same mould as Taufik Hidayat. Just hope they don't burn out too soon but it's early days yet to worry about that.

Sindhu and Busanan are the other two young candidates with lots of potential. Perhaps Carolina Marin too.

As for the CHN youngsters, they aren't so fortunate. With their seniors so good, very few of them get to play in the international circuit except for the exceptional ones and then only occasionally provided they produce reasonably good results, eg Chen Xiaojia.

Chen Xiaojia is even older than Li Xuerui. We don't see any CHN yougsters as promising as Tai and Inthanon so far .

What a fantastically deceptive player inthanon is, really she is a fantastic player for the future. but i do think she needs to get her smashes to be more powerful

Ratcha is really good WS player. She shows no emotion, she is very calm. Wish her the best, given his young age, she can perform really well by right as long as she stays humble and hardworking.

On the FO 2012 Quarter Final, Saina won in smash power and experience. Ratcha would be able to achieve that in a right time.

Watching her play Nehwal today makes me think of Zhao Jianhua. Amazing that Thailand can produce so many very skillful WS players. But obviously she was running out of gas at the end of the second game. If Nehwal could force a third game, she could be in trouble. But I really enjoy watching her play.

After watching her AE SF performance, I have to say that she is indeed the most talented player today. Whether she can keep it up as her body evolves remains to be seen.

Intanon has all the makings of a champion and,barring unforeseen circumstances,she should get there one day, I think. To put it another way, she has the talents,skills, her fitness and stamina still some room for improvement but good enough most of the time except the one or two occasions when stretched by a feisty or resurgent opponent, so I believe with maturity and more experience, we should see her among the top 3 in due course.

After watching her play a few times...

She is a generational talent. Not since Mia Audina have i seen a more talented WS player. Possesses very precise and smooth footwork. Fast and flexible enough to rarely take back hand shots, her speed to the around the head corner is very good. Added to all of this, her racket skills and overhead stroke is incredibly relaxed and deceptive and her touch at the net is world class already.
She reads the game beautifully and can anticipate shots few others can. Her creativity and mind for the game is what stands out for me(she pretty much uses a double action for every single none overhead stroke).
It's not even the fact that she makes errors while doing something you don't expect, but it's the fact that she a) thinks of doing it and b) attempts it in a game situation. Other players can only dream of the shots she can pull off.

The only comparison i can make is Mia Audina because they are both the most talented WS players i've ever seen. Style wise, there are some but not many similarities. Actually funny enough, the first people i thought of when watching Ratchanok play was Taufik and Hafiz Hashim.
If at the end of her career, you told me she had won multiple Olympics, WC's and AE i would not be surprised in the least

Good observations. Add to that her uncanny ability to anticipate opponents' shots and take them early and you have a pretty complete player. My only worry is her fitness but this should improve with more training and competition.
