Hi everyone, this information is great. I am new in town and am looking for a badminton club to goto on a regular basis. Unfortunately, i dont have a car. I am at de anza and stevens creek in cupertino. It seems that sunnyvale middle school and Sunnyvale indoor sports center would be my best bet. Although, since im new i would definitely prefer a drop in style club (vs individual court rental).
Can someone provide me details of how these two clubs run or if there are any alternatives for my particular situation, it would be greatly appreciated!

I know De Anza has a badminton club, but I don't know if they have open gym. I would email to find out and then report back so I can update with the new info.

I sent the email out and eagerly waiting a reply. Although I dont have my hopes up as i know many clubs associated with Colleges do not allow non-student body members.

SJSU replied saying that the badminton club is for college students only, but I could drop in. Unfortunately, I just moved in here not knowing anyone to go during free gym. Ill keep looking for a drop in style club.

There's SJSU badminton club and SJSU open gym which are two separate things. SJSU open gym is open to anyone. SJSU badminton club is only for SJSU students.

I hope this link helps. i found it from another Badminton Forum site. It lists all the places in NorCal and SoCal.
Also there are some groups on facebook that are high school badminton clubs that list open gym times to the public every once in a while.
I'm a part of the Benicia Badminton group on Facebook and theres also contributors from other places who posts open gym schedules for local sports centers, like the schedule for the Georgie Duke Center in Vacaville.
