Jonas, with the return of the 3*15, how did you change your double training session?

    - more running?? and what kind of running??
    - less weight training??
    - more aerobi session on the court??

I really love the men's double and i wait for your help.

    Thanks.

    Changes!!

First of all, it´s a total different game to play to 3*15 than 5*7. You´ll need more stamina and the ralleys become longer. Therefore our training is changed to include longer ralleys. The first three strokes in every ralley is very important in men´s doubles. It was even more important in 5*7 than 3*15.

I think the right length of the men´s doubles game is 5*9.

Otherwise our training has not changed much.

    3 x 15 vs 5 x 7

    JR,

The IBF may have some problems with the scoring system. One solution would be to make scoring even across all disciplines.

Would the ladies singles players you know have a problem with playing 3 x 15? Would they want to play 3 x15 given that some ladies players get completely exhausted playing the last set of 5 x7?

Given a choice which would you prefer...... 3 x15 or 5 x7 and why?

(I have a feeling that the 5 x 9 format may yet be resurrected)
