Forearm Pain Need some Advice in regards to what could be the cause.
Ok iv been doing alot of research and it seems string tension can be the cause.
My strings were patheticly loose id probably say 20-22 if it was lucky. A year and half ago i used 27lbs 1 of my rackets may have been 28lbs i think. So i restrung it to 26lbs thinking as time goes on and i get back to form i can slowly increase it back up to that strength.
After getting it resstrung with BG-65 the racket feels amazingly stiff and alot heavier. But i thought hmm maybe it was just me. So i started playing and straight away that night the lower part of my bicep and forearm was hurting a bit.
10 minutes of rest and my arm doesnt hurt. The next day it doesnt hurt. The injury seems gone. I have been to the doctor and nothing shows up as damaged.
But as soon as i play badminton the pain comes back within 5 minutes on court. I have competition coming up and cant afford to stop training so what would you guys reccomend.
Is it the string tension? Iv been back into badminton for a month or so now so i dont really see it as being my muscles need to get used to playing. My racket used to feel really nicely balanced. Easy to move flick and everything..Now it realy feels stiff and uncomfortable.
So what do you guys think?

Also for EDIT PURPOSES
I no alot about badminton, physical training and injuries. This really has me puzzled. As its purely an on court "at the time" injury. Then disapears.
The only reason i think it may be the string tension is because after restringing my racket it felt strange and really stiff. So yes im lost lol?

1 month is not very long. You may have been too intense with the training.

Something like RSI?
Any particular shots that aggravate it?
I'm sceptical that gym excercise can fully simulate the movement required for badminton strokes e.g. speed, extension, coincident muscle/joint movement etc.
Maybe you should seek more specialist medical opinions?

seems like me and quite a few others are having this problem. To sum it up, its ANNOYING.
But i dont get how bradymaster rested for 10 minutes and it was good to go later. Once i get this, it affects me for the whole time unless i take painkiller to play.
Some shots that will aggravate this condition - backhand clear and overhead clear/smash. Thats my opinions.

tried playing tonight with my little brothers racket which is strung lower..it made no difference and the pain came back.
so im taking a week off for rest and recovery
seems like its simply my muscles arent used to the amount of badminton im playing after all.
Thanks guys.
And for those of you who were curious i sought out medical advice from my doctor and he found nothing so he just said if it continues rest it.
thanks for your advice everyone

by doctor i mean my physio whom i know. he knows enough about what hes doing. Otherwise i wouldn't be seeing him. And its obviously a very minor strain for it to not show up on the scans he got me to take.
And its just reaggrevated when i start playing alot. So im resting for another 4 days to give it sufficient recovery time.
First tournament since iv been back coming up in 3 and half weeks so don't wanna ruin my chances of competing
