well... ive seen them shake hands and hug each other after matches etc.. but how about off the court?
Chong Wei is much closer to Taufik than LinDan. However both LCW and LD is okay with each other off court. But they dont spend much time with each other after tournaments.
I don't think Lin dan had problem with Lee Chong Wei, when it comes to personal. At least, i haven't heard any. Lin dan vs taufik is classic la.
gade ... from what i see , he is quiet friendly and generous(dont know how to spell) lee chong wei ... ermmmh .. no need to explain ~ almost all know already
it'd be fun to read sombody's personal experience regarding any of those players off court relationship, i guess it could become a hot gossip thread i hope to hear a clear cut story of rivalry among any of the top players (off court) :d:d
I'm not sure but I heard Gade really doesn't like LCW after the Malaysian Opens when he lost in the semis.
Basically, i don't think Lee Chong Wei is being dislike by other players. He seem to preserve himself, didn't he? don't think Lindan dislike him, let alone Gade, ~
Iv had a personal experience with an Indonesian player. His name was Aji Basuki Sindoro . He came over from indonesia to compete in the Australian International with 1 of the australian members in doubles. Ashley brehaut i think he played with. I was playing in this tournament and warming up on the warmup courts. he was there warming up with ashley and i was just amazed at some of the shots he was playing. he saw i was interested and walked up to me with ashley and introduced themselves. We talked for about 20 minutes and he was simply the nicest guy i have ever met. Ashley went back to the normal courts to rest and aji asked if i wanted a hit.. so ofcourse i was in shock but accepted. He spent the next hour helping me out with technique and concentrating on giving me more power and accuracy for my jump smash. Then i was called for my match. So i thanked him and he wished me goodluck. For the next 4 days of the tournament everytime we saw each other he stoppd for a chat. Which lasted anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Depending on how busy he was. Unfortunately i have lost contact with him as i didnt exchange details with him. The other experience i had was at the same tournament meeting a malaysian player who took out the singles title. Ismail Saman was his name. And again he said he trains many times with lee chong wei and the malaysian national squad. Same deal he was just the nicest guy and spent a good 20 minutes having a chat with him. My personal experiences Other than that im good friends with Ashley Moss who is the current Australian Mens singles champion. He now lives in denmark and plays for a club over there so hes living the dream Hopefully i can make it to where he has gotten too over the next couple of years
Peter Gade says in Malaysia he is closest to LCW and Wong Choon Han in the most recent online chat if you guys have read it...
