I thought Malaysia and other Asian regions would have very good pricing on strings. You only buy BG70PRO for the durability and the longest retention of tension strung, which is kinda pointless in Malaysia as the better strings there are cheaper comparing to elsewhere. BG65 is decent enough if you're not too picky with the tension on your racquet.

Every string has their own characteristic. Why does Lin Dan use BG65 instead of BG70 Pro if it's way better than BG65?

buy bg-70 if you're using high tension
anything under 25/26lbs = poor feel

    I have to disagree
becoz i am current'y stringing 70pro at 23lbs and for 25lbs its too stiff and hard that feels like a rock !!

For myself, 23lbs will be alright

Onsite stringers have reels of BG65s during tournaments cuz it's the cheapest and pro players usual don't have too much preference when it comes to strings, they just want decent quick string jobs for their next round. Lin Dan doesn't kick ass because of his choice of string, he dominates simply because of his ability. People who said equipment matters significantly just don't see the whole picture.

BG70Pro is marketed more towards recreational players who don't want to have to cut their strings everytime the tension dropped. It retains strung tension better than most other strings whereas BG65 tension would dropped noticeably after one session. Both strings are highly durable.
