I'd say mine was Dan/Gade AE 2004 Finals because it was the first badminton match I'd ever seen, and i was able to see it live too. :p

If we are talking personal favourites, for me it was the emotional tension of the 2008 Thomas Cup Semifinals, Park Sung Hwan vs. Sony Dwi Kuncoro in Jakarta. Played with hometown nervousness by SDK and implacability by PSH.
Overthetop commentary by Burgess and Clark on the Modius version was icing on the cake.

LD and LCW in the 2007 China Masters SF.

The first professional badminton match I watched on youtube, and a very good one indeed.

LCW and Gade, Malaysian Opens Semi Finals 2009. First singles match I've bothered to watch. I used to be a doubles player and honestly, didn't even think about switching to singles until I saw that YouTube video!

Zhao 'The Legend' Jian Hua VS Joko Suprianto
Zhao jian hua defeated Joko suprianto (who was at his peak) 15-2,15-3
It was the finals and Zhao Jian hua took less than 25 minutes to finish him off.
Can you imagine how godly Zhao jian hua is. He truly is The Legend.
The video is hosted here in badminton central

For those who only youtube stuff, you can try ahtat's channel, and cutelyenigmatik's. Also visit badmintonfreak.com for other sources of non-downloading videos.

i agree that the 2009 final was a fantastic match. if you're interested in LD vs LCW matches (that go the full distance), check out the All England 2006 semi-final between them - one of the best matches technical-wise for both of them in my opinion.

Can't remember when, I think in the 1985 All England Championship final, Zhao Jianhua played Morten Frost. First time in the world we saw attractive and attacking style of badminton played from Zhao. Before that, games were played with much slower tempos and all strokes were easily anticipated, shots expected to be at baseline will be hit to baseline, shots expected to be a dropshot will be a drop shot. Those were the days when the players with better basic skills with longest staminas ruled badminton. Then Zhao came along and played his deceptive, fast and attacking game to bewilder the much experienced Frost, who was the crowd and hot favourite to win the championship. This game to me, revolutionised badminton on how the game will be played forever.

Wow amazing match. Zhao Jianhua and Morten Frost in the 1985 ae championships... this game was so fast paced and amazing to watch the beauty of the strokes and shots. I'm amazed that Morten could keep up, but he did very well, AMAZING MATCH!
