Hi, I am actually looking for more venues to book badminton courts at around Wolverhampton. I have the usual candidates such as, Aldersley, Compton and St Peters, anyone know any other places though? Also if anyone is up for playing some time, let me know, I am not a great standard, but I am not bad either, i'm all up for playing for fun anyway. Thanks.

Yeah, I normally play with Tiki badminton club but it's off for the summer. But it's not bad now anyway, I organize badminton at Aldersley usually 8-10, every Tuesday, until Tiki starts back up again. i usually play at aldersley with a friend but it is getting annoying having to book a court each week and we can never get the slots we want and a lot of the time we miss out. how does it work with the club/prices etc? we are both beginners/intermediate... cheers
Yeah it is difficult to get the slots you wish to, well, if you would like to come have a look, we do book Aldersley 8-10, Tuesdays, and there are a good few of us. But with the club you can pay a one off fee for the year and that pays for the entire badminton season, I can't remember the price. Or it is £3.50 per session which lasts 2 hours. They also have a league team, 3 teams to be precise 1 in division 1 and two in division 2. But if you want to speak to the organizer of that club, Graham Jebb, I can pm you his contact details. Any levels of ability are fine, as I am not that great myself either . So let me know .

We are at the Wolverhampton university on Tuesday 7pm-9pm, yeah. You are welcome to come along, there are going to be enough courts to go around and this won't be the junior session but the club players session .
The standard varies. We do have quite a few club/league players as well as a european number 1 at u15s level. You can certainly get some good games .
