love it I just tried Head Helix 5000 yesterday and fell in love with it right away. Before I tried it, I thought I would like Metallix 8000 or 10000 better but they felt too heavy. Funny thing is, as per the specs, Metallix 4000 is supposed to be heavier but it felt otherwise. I also liked Nano Power 700 but Helix 5000 is the best. Before this, I used Yonex MP33 and was pretty happy with it. I had tried several Yonex racquets last year and only one I liked was Nano 9900X. Couldn't find a single web site that sells it in US but just found a shop who does. Getting my 5000 for 85$ tomorrow.
I tried Power Helix 8000. Very light racq., good overall balance, very good control, ideal for quick reactions for instance drives or defensive actions. But I do not agree with power, I was not able to create sufficient powerfull smashes so I was prone to counterattacks. Maybe you're a stonger player... I suppose that "10000" is little bit head heavier than "8000". If an advanced player want to try out the Power Helix Series just consider "8000" or "10000", otherwise she/he will be disappointed.
I tired it, as a demo at mandarin badminton. works like a charm, because its a demo its strung at 22LBS. Jump Smashes are feel great for a med flex racquet, too bad they arent alot these days, i cant choose between that of the AT900T (my all-time fave)

Would have liked to try them but from what I've read on the website, all the rackets are medium-flex. They need to make stiff & extra-stiff version

Hi yellowduck. Have you tried the Head Power Helix 7000 yet. Can I ask you how much does it cost and which shop do you buy it from? Do you get a lot of power from the whipping effect? Is it good for drives and clears? all the best pyshuttler
