    i don't think ns7700 were made in 06? i thought they came out in 07. correct me if i'm wrong.

    I'm not sure either. For legitimate racquets, look for the bottom cap (should be bumpy), symmetrical paint pattern (left and right should be the same with the exception to logo's and phrases), grommets (should be clean and not roughly rounded).

    it came out in late 2006. so the date is valid.
