Ng Wei of HK receives Olympic scholarship

    Just reported in today's South China Morning Post. Ng Wei is one of 7 promising HK atheletes to receive such an award to help with costs towards their training.

    Congratulations! (if he ever reads this!!!!)

    Does the olympic board sponsor everything for Ng? like transportation, living etc? I remember that kevin han and howard back got a free saturn from the USOC. I'm not exactly sure how they got it but , hey i'd take a free car.:D

    Can't remember the exact financial details but I think it's USD1000/month allowance that has to go towards the costs of training.
