factory grip question
is it possible to remove the original grip tape and replace a new one without anything falling apart???

I know you are able to take the original grip off with LOTS of effort and I suppose you should be able to put a new one on instead but you'd have to be very carefull in cleaning the wood after you take the factory grip off

Lol I applied a towel grip onto the facotry grip and when it was time to take the towel grip off... *tear* there goes my factory grip xD
Yes it's possible. Nothing should fall apart. It's just wood underneath.

If there is a staple, just remove it (with Yonex brand rackets). I used to remove mine so I could put Saran Wrap and a towel grip over it. Nothing should come off. No worries.

But make sure you note that if you aren't carefull/I don't even know if it's possible not to have some of the padding on the grip rip off and stay on the handle

i just hate how fat the grip is after i apply one layer of new grip
