Chinese learning

    Hi there,

    I want to learn Chinese but still get have difficult time of finding a quality Chinese language program. If you have come across certain good ones please let me know. I am looking for program that is with solid teaching and interesting activities.

    i started learning chinese when i stayed in suzhou. I started with Pimsleur mandarin volumes 1,2,3 and then continued the learning with chinesepod website. Until now i still learn chinese in my car. My chinese now is intermediate and i can now understand mostly 50%.

    nope. I didn't have any formal learning from school or university. Also, what i am learning is just conversational mandarin. Writing probably is my next phase. The mp3 from Pimsleur are really good and you will get to know from the very basic even the difference in how the words are said in beijing and in southern part of china. The pimsleur is made in beijing so you'll pretty learn the beijing accent and words.... Chinesepod is base in Shanghai.

    you can try the PopupChinese Site! There's even stuff for HSK takers there! :)
