Hey guys! I was looking at my ns7700 i got used. I noticed a paint chip and when i looked closely it looks like it has some kinda crack, but i'm not sure. when i run my fingers across it is smooth! I attached some pics. can you guys let me know if this is a crack or if it is just a paint chip and how the actual ns rackets look like without paint? Thanks!
Dont put scotch tape over. You can apply transparent nail polish. Use your mom's or some female friend's nail polish.
I just put the nail polish right over the paint chipped part right? do i need to put it on the paint around too? how long should i leave it there to dry? i want to play with it in about 1 hr. XD should i do it before or after
If you find a model shp in your area, try to find a spray paint one thats kind of metallic silver by Tamiya and then cover it up with a transparent nail polish i think it'll look as good as new.
paint it over the chipped area. let the nail polish slightly flush with the top paint of the racquet. leave it to dry. or you can have your game 1st & do it later.
My NS7700 was really messed up after having it for such a long period. It was a gift from my friend and, one day, I decided to just remove all the paint that was left on the racket. Approximately 60% left on the head and about 80% left on the shaft but both my friend and I wanted to see how a racket without paint looks like. I don't know where it is at the moment due to my recent move, but when I do find it, I'll post pictures. It plays just like normal and if anything, it's actually a bit lighter due to the lost of paint. Just don't worry about your paint chip. As of now, it's nothing and there's no cracks. No need for the nail polish either, unless you want a "new" looking racket.
The whole inside? It's hard to tell since your chip is small BUT DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. Mine, because I smoothed it all out with sandpaper and cleaned it, was really bright, shiny and smooth. Imagine a girl's nail buffed with a new buff-er tool thing. ;P That's what the racket looked it, but generally, the color was similar.
imo u shld be fine with that paint chip... cos i hav more than 6-8 that kind of chips for my mp-99 and nothing happen so dun worry too much...
