bbeshop is updating the list & showing who & what models they were playing with during Sudirman. have a peep. prices too. http://www.bbeshop.com/racket_lining.htm for those who can't read chinese, it says... N90 - Lindan N50 - Fu Haifeng N55 - Chen Jin N70 - Bao Chunlai
.....i knew the high end rackets weren't going to be cheap but that's way too much. prices like that scare away a lot of potential buyers. I'm not going to buy one anytime soon.
Thats just outrageously expensive. I'll just wait for the price to drop and stick with Yonex. xD. Just got my NS 9900 and its performing very well. =D
It is a matter of time when Li Ning and Victor racquets will be premium brands, followed by Yonex. No Yonex racquets, except Yonex AS-50 shuttles made in China, were used in the Sudirman finals.
Agreed. But during the whole Sudirman Cup. There were still quite a number of Yonex apparel being used by other teams. =D
In badminton sponsorship, what really counts is to be no. 1. If Yonex repeatedly comes in lower than no. 2, it will end up being no different from Dunlop or other brands worn by the lower level sponsored countries. If Chian keeps on being no. 1, you can be sure Li Ning racquets will sell at twice or three times the price of a top Yonex racquet. But Li Ning is not resting on its laurels just yet, they are going into the other strong badminton countries too.
Anyone really tried Li Ning racquets before? Are they really up to the standard/price they are selling at??? Or are they just overpricing. I'm using yonex because I've tried playing with other brands but they just seems hollowed out. No feeling when hitting the shuttle. Not 100% sure if it's phycho or really the diff in material.
Product Standard? Team China won the Sudirman Cup with Li-Ning rackets... IF LN rackets were sub-standard then Team China beat everyone with sub-standard rackets. Overpriced? Yonex was/is overpriced and if everyone was/is crazy about Yonex then there is nothing wrong with LN pricing. Louis-Vuitton and Ferrari are also overpriced but there's no end to the customer queue...
I would think that Team China would have won anyway unless they were using squash racquets Anyone know how were the racquets priced before Team China started using them?
Really??? So all those racquests that Team China is using is like custom made for each player? Launched at the same time the players started using them?
well, according to Li Ning's ad, those racquests are designed for each player, and launched at 10th of May, but of course Team China had already use them in the training for couple of weeks or month. and so far in China, only few people have ever tried this new LI NING racquests, since the price is way too high, so dont expect too much previews.
before it there was no Li Ning racket 90% racket now is made from China. Victor, SOTX, Carlton, Babolat, etc so depends on the QC yes.....but not only high end, low end also. Li Ning is a new pl;ayer in this bussiness something like that
So being a new kid on the block....even though they have Team China to promote it....pricing it above Yonex is kind of a shock to the market i would think. Would really like to see how it's going to play out. Personally...i'd wait it out and wait for others in my group use it and then see how they feel about the racquets.
no, there are some low end for Li Ning, but rarely seen and almost no one would like to use it,but for sure that Li Ning is a newbie in this bussiness.
